Inspired by the True Facts videos found on youtube, this piece explains some of the abilities that make the octopus so unique. Utilizing the facts in the video to create and illustrative infographic about the octopus.

 

Focusing on complementary colors, I wanted this piece to highlight the hero octopus. We follow him through the story as we discover what wonders the octopus body holds. A playful typeface hints at the unusual facts presented in this infographic, as well as referencing the ink that an octopus can release.
